Only half an hour away from Lamb Cottage you’ll find Arley Hall and Gardens as well as the hydraulic Anderton Boat Lift, a feat of Victorian engineering.
To the West of the park, you’ll find North Wales while if you go East you’ll be headed towards the Peak District.
Eye Kettleby Touring Park

Fields End Water Caravan Park

If you’re after a little slice of Fenland countryside life, then Fields End Water Caravan Park is the place to be.
There’s a lot you could get up to at this award-winning, family-run, dog-friendly and, most importantly for this list, adult-only campsite, which features a little something for everyone.
You can camp or tour to your heart’s content or if you’re after more of a weekend break, you could stay at one of their luxury lodges featuring private hot tubs. The site also boasts beautiful ponds that enhance the tranquil and picturesque scenery.
From here, you can meander around the local area, get some fishing in or simply relax and rejuvenate.
If you’re looking to explore the local area there are nearby markets and historical towns including Ely with its stunning cathedral, the Duxford Imperial War Museum, one of Europe’s most highly regarded aviation museums, and plenty more in the Fenland, Cambridgeshire area.
Waterrow Touring Park
Waterrow, Wiveliscombe, Somerset

You’ll find this touring park east side of Exmoor, in the vicinity of the border between Somerset and Devon.
Tucked away in the hamlet of Waterrow, it’s set amidst beautiful landscape where pitches are partitioned by shrub and plant screenings.

Killiwerris Touring Park

For a small and friendly family run touring park head to Poldark country. Set along the stunning St. Agnes Coast, Kiliwerris is ideally located near all major routes if you’re looking to fully explore Cornwall.
The scenery of the park already provides plenty to take in with Chapel Porth beach just a few steps away and the remains of Wheal Coates mine towering on a cliff edge above the sea.
Footpaths and bridleways provide the perfect network for exploring the land up close. Five miles to the Northwest lies Truro while St. Agnes is only four miles away.

Cuckoo’s Corner

The site is highly accessible by bus and car hire is also available.
Cuckoo’s Corner is the perfect base for venturing out to places like the Symonds Yat, where you’ll find some of the country’s most beloved countryside; acres of woods, a winding river and a limestone outcrop that reaches over 500 feet from the River Wye’s banks.
It’s only 20 miles from the site and offers a breathtaking viewpoint of the surrounding landscape.
Overbrook Caravan Park
Pickering, North Yorkshire

Dedicated resident owners Daniel and Natalie have created a truly wonderful caravan park here.
Regarded as a friendly and inviting place, Overbrook Caravan Park is found on the outskirts of picture-perfect Thornton-le-Dale village at the heart of North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
There are over 50 hard standing pitches, all well-drained and with 16A electric hook-ups with beautiful views. Water is easily accessible, toilet facilities with privacy cubicles are clean and heated and the showers are free to use (with the added perk of music).
Free wifi, a small library and tourist information are all available from the reception.
Bird-watching enthusiasts will be pleased to find out that over 40 species have been sighted around Overbrook.
So make sure to pack your binoculars! From the park, you can wander into the nearby village where you’ll find shops or head over to the market town of Pickering for a spot of lunch.
Delph Bank Touring Park
Fleet Hargate, Lincolnshire

This is a great one if you’re looking to take in the Cambridgeshire Fenlands, North Norfolk Coast and Lincolnshire all from one hub.
A tree-lined avenue guides you into this secluded park where there are 45 level pitches for recreational vehicles dotted among the well-kept shrubbery and flower beds. The park is within easy reach of nearby towns, beaches, and local attractions, making it perfect for those looking to explore the surrounding areas.
The Delph Bank Touring Park includes hard-standing, fully-serviced hard-standing and grass pitches all equipped with a 16A electric hook up. All motorhomes share a water service point.
That being said the heated facilities are large, modern and incredibly clean and include privacy cubicles, wet-room style showers, as well as hair and hand dryers and shaving points.
Hot water is free of charge and there is also a fully-fledged out laundry area.
Owners Kevin and Kay are friendly and helpful and will eagerly share their advice for exploring the local area.
The Fens offer plenty of activities including bird-watching, nature reserves, boating excursions, golfing and fishing.
Known as ‘Britain’s flower basket’ South Lincolnshire is particularly colourful during the Spring and Summer months.
Longnor Wood Holiday Park
Longnor, Buxton, Derbyshire

Another Peak District National Park destination to add to your adults-only list is the Longnor Wood Holiday Park.
Around a mile away from moorland town of Longnor, tucked away in rolling farmland and woodlands, Longnor Wood is perfectly located as a base from which to explore the picturesque villages of Derbyshire and the Peak District.
